Reading Material for Lesson 4.1 Lesson Plan
6. Instruction and Instructional objective
6.2. Instructional objectives - important tools
Instructional
objectives are important tools in the training
process, as the use of precisely stated
objectives often determines the
nature of training methods, media and process
of testing. All learning
activities are classified under acquisition of knowledge,
development of skills, and modification of attitudes and habits.
We are generally concerned with development of
skills, but we cannot segregate skill
from knowledge and attitude. For effective
implementation of the programme of training and in
the context
of instructional
design, objectives play a very important role.
