Cutting tool centre height setting gauge

Objectives : This shall help you to
• Set the cutting tool
• Adjust cutting tool centre height using setting gauge.

This is a simple gauge for setting cutting tool centre height
with respect to lathe spindle axis.
The figure shows setting of cutting edge coincides with
gauge face, which is maintained in line with the lathe axis.
Other view shows centre point of the cutting tool are
matched in same line with live centre.
